Tipperary Lake is a nice lake to visit. You simply ought to go for the Park Range. A fine close by hotel is Vail Mountain Lodge and Spa; going for a hike on the Piney Lake Trail is always a great adventure. After a long day outdoors Vails Mountain Haus is a pleasant site to spend a night or two; you're probably into lakes, Griffith Lake is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Very picturesque scenery and good skiing is what you get at Vail, and
on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Eaglesmere Trail. Take a little spree to North Fork Elliott Creek while you're here at Tipperary Lake. At Tipperary Lake you don’t see much rain; August is the wettest month with most
rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
Camping is available at Big Green Campground, and paddling on Blue River is so much fun. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Tipperary Lake. For the period of the dark hours
of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Tipperary Lake are in the-10's.
