Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. There is a great hiking trail near Timberline Lake called the Mirror Lake Trail, and Timberline Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Tom Bennett Campground is a magnificent local campground. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Browns Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Cache La       Poudre River. This lake is so wonderful. Rocky Mountain National Park is a good place near Timberline Lake. Throughout the warm months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Timberline Lake. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Timberline Lake are in the 0's. Dry warm beds await you at Estes Park Condos; get wet paddling on Cache La Poudre River. After a long day                  outdoors Peak To Peak Lodge Inc. is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and from Timberline Lake you get a brilliant sight of Crown Point. Not much rainfall falls here at Timberline Lake; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. The Flowers Trail is a magnificent hiking trail next to Timberline Lake. Lakes? Sure, Comanche Lake is nearby.
