The Medicine Bow Mountains is unbeatable! Go for a hike on the West Branch Trail, and the vista of Clark Peak is wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. You'll stumble on a striking lake called Carey Lake near Timber Lake, and going for a hike on the Blue Lake Trail is always a delightful adventure. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the Medicine Bow Mountains has to offer. Camping is available       at Skyline Campground. Timber Lake is one of the lakes here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Near Timber Lake you discover the North Fork Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and you can run the rapids of Cache La Poudre River. Lakes are such calm spots, why not explore Island Lake near Timber Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Tunnel Campground is a glorious location to camp. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Timber Lake. All through the                  dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 30's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Timber Lake. It is very waterless here at Timber Lake ordinarily; most of the rain falls through May, and January meanwhile is the driest month. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Timber Lake.
