Why not stop by Tiago Lake if you're passing through these parts. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Park Range. If you came to camp Grizzly Creek Campground is a nice location to do that, and a day on the slopes of Steamboat is just what you need. Through the summer months at Tiago Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows at

Tiago Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Hidden Lakes Campground is a great local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Elk River offers some great whitewater.

has to offer. There are great spots to look at along the Percy Lake Trail, needless to say you could also go to Burns Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. A nice place to go to in close proximity
to Tiago Lake is Burns Draw; Burns Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out.
After a long day outdoors Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums is a fine place to spend a night or two, and nearby you discover the Newcomb Creek
Trail which is a great hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Don’t forget to explore Newcomb Park while you're here at Tiago Lake, and going for a hike on the Rainbow Lake Trail is always a pleasant adventure. A lake close by is
Teal Lake, and needless to say Sawmill Creek flows through this area.
And that's not all you can do here at Tiago Lake. A perfect nearby hotel is Winterwood Townhomes, and the skiing at Howelsen Hill is great. Around Tiago Lake
you don’t get a lot of precipitation; December is the month that gets the most snow; the driest of the months is August.
