Three Lakes gets very little rain; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Three Lakes reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. All through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures       at Three Lakes dip into the 0's. Three Lakes is located in the Sawatch Range. Yeah, come here to Three Lakes for a great time. Hit the slopes at Ski Cooper in close proximity; going for a hike along the Mount Massive Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Sawatch Range has to offer. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Leadville is a good site to spend a night or                  two, and hiking along the Highline Trail is great fun. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Lake Creek offers some great whitewater, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Main Range Trail. Do explore Rainbow Lake in the vicinity of Three Lakes, it's a pretty lake, and a great place to camp here at Three Lakes is Mary Queen Campground. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Sawatch Range is unbeatable! Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Clear Creek, and why not camp at Elbert Creek Campground since you're here at Three Lakes. A picturesque lake like Notch Lake right next door to Three Lakes is a pleasant place to visit, and The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a pleasant location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
