The beauty of Three Lakes is reason enough to stop by. Three Lakes gets very little rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is regularly the driest month. Three Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Sawatch Range. The Mount Massive Trail offers hiking at its best, and Three Lakes is a place with many visitors from Edwards.
This lake is so wonderful. There's fine hiking along the Highline Trail. Notch Lake is a glorious

| | lake in the vicinity of Three Lakes; if you need a place to stay The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a fine choice. And that's not all the things to do here in the Sawatch Range. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Clear Creek, and Ski Cooper has great slopes and a friendly staff.
At Three Lakes throughout the summer highs are in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's | |

with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Three Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Main Range Trail, and Super 8 Motel - Leadville is a good spot to get some rest. You feel that's enough?
Just getting warmed up. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Three Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Mary Queen Campground; lakes are such serene spots, why not pop by Native Lake.
So much entertaining stuff in
the Sawatch Range, just remarkable. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lake Creek. There's so much to do here at Three Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Elbert Creek Campground is a great location for that.
