Thorn Lake is a nice lake to visit. Around Thorn Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Bolling Gulch Trail, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Alps Boulder Canyon Inn. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Front Range. The scenery at Braecher Ranch Dam in close proximity to Thorn Lake is striking,

| | and a perfect place to camp here at Thorn Lake is Reverends Ridge Campground.
The panorama of lovely Panorama Point near Thorn Lake is magnificent, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Switzerland Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Braecher Ranch Reservoir is close to Thorn Lake. Summertime highs at Thorn Lake typically tend to be in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. but if it's for you then we recommend Boulder Creek - South, and why not camp at Central City Blackhawk Campground while you're here at Thorn Lake. Having a pleasant time at Thorn Lake is painless. You're probably addicted to lakes,
Camp Shoshoni Reservoir is one of those close by, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Lodge At Nederland is a delightful choice. Have a great hiking adventure along the Mount Thorodin Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Boulder Creek - South offers some great whitewater.
