Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Front Range. Panorama Point can be spotted from Thorn Lake; a good spot to camp here at Thorn Lake is Reverends Ridge Campground. What a spot this is for outdoors people. On a tremendous day at Thorn Lake you can take a hike along the Mount Thorodin Trail, and Boulder Creek - South has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Why not camp at Central City Blackhawk Campground while you're here at Thorn Lake, and do go

| | to Braecher Ranch Dam while you're here.
This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is glorious here at Thorn Lake, you can go for a hike along the Bolling Gulch Trail, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boulder Creek - South. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Front Range. The Switzerland Trail is a splendid hiking trail near Thorn Lake, and Braecher Ranch Reservoir is a nearby | |

lake that you could have a look at. Do have a look at Braecher Lake near Thorn Lake, it's a scenic lake, and Best Western Lodge At Nederland is a great place to get some rest.
Thorn Lake is located in the Front Range. Around Thorn
Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. At Thorn Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and the night is fairly chillier of course, usually
in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Thorn Lake are in the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Ameristar Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk is a wonderful choice.
