If you like lakes and you're in this part of Colorado you can check out Lake Thomas. The vista of Gold Dust Peak from Lake Thomas is striking, and dry warm beds await you at The Pines Lodge. Thomas; why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake Charles Trail. You'll meet a lot of people from Edwards here, and after a long day outdoors Hyatt Mountain Lodge is a delightful location to spend a night or two.
Now, you
may assume that's a heap but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Lake Thomas. The Sawatch Range scenery is always beautiful. Yeah, come up here to the Sawatch Range for a splendid time. Yeoman Park Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Eagle River.
