Why not stop by Lake Thomas if you're passing through these parts. So many amusing things to do at Lake Thomas, so little time. Lake Thomas is not the only site nearby, Big Lake is a nearby lake; there are perfect places to discover along the New York Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Fryingpan River, and delightful hiking is available along the Lake Creek Trail. So much enjoyable stuff in the Sawatch Range, just

| | phenomenal. A day on the slopes of Beaver Creek is just what you need, and if you came to camp Yeoman Park Campground is a pleasant location to do that.
Throughout the summer here at Lake Thomas, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 0's for Lake Thomas. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range. | |

While you're here at Lake Thomas you will meet lots of people from nearby Edwards, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Eagle River.
And that's not everything
you can do here in the Sawatch Range. If you need a site to stay Centennial Condominiums is a delightful choice, and you can go for a hike on the Lake Charles Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Vail
is right next door to Lake Thomas. There's so much to do here at Lake Thomas that you need to camp here for a while, Fulford Cave Campground is a glorious site for that. Not much rainfall falls here at Lake Thomas; through the month
of July you get the most rain around here while February is mostly the driest month.
Negro Basin is right here at Lake Thomas. Here at Lake Thomas you can distinguish Gold Dust Peak, and dry warm beds await you at Arrowhead Village.
