Go to Tellurium Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. At Tellurium Lake through the summertime highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Tellurium Lake are in the 0's. But wait, there's more to do near Tellurium Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Vail if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Halfmoon Lake,

| | and you can go for a hike on the Last Chance Trail. It is very dry here at Tellurium Lake ordinarily; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. for you then we recommend Eagle River, and The Pines Lodge is a brilliant place to get some rest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sawatch Range. What would winter be without some skiing at Beaver Creek, and the good people
of Edwards like to hang out close by. There's tremendous hiking along the Ironedge Trail, and a pleasant tour to Tellurium Park is a splendid way to spend an afternoon. If you're here at Tellurium Lake, you could have a look at Reed
Creek, and Avalanche Peak is picturesque and can be seen from here. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Sawatch Range will keep you coming back many times. If you come at the right time of year, Fryingpan River offers some
great whitewater. There's so much to do here at Tellurium Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Elk Wallow Campground is a glorious location for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Tellurium Lake, you could
also explore nearby Eagle Lake, and Tellurium Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Fulford Cave Campground is a pleasant local campground. Tellurium Lake is located in the Sawatch Range.

 | 12 miles away Beautiful drive up to Lede Reservoir. We started in Eagle and took Sylvan Lake road all the way past the lake and then took a right at the first intersection. After climbing up and around the peak in front of us we were upon some huge rolling meadows that were among the forrests. A slight drop down into the valley on the west side of the mountains and a left turn lead us to the reservoir. It is a great spot with some fishing paths around the water and a number of campsites as well. We continued west to Gypsum Creek Road and a short drive back to the town of Gypsum.... |
