Why not stop by Tellurium Lake if you're passing through these parts. Tellurium Lake is located in the Sawatch Range. Dry warm beds await you at Hyatt Mountain Lodge; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Halfmoon Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are nice locations to look at along the Lake Charles Trail, and if you need a spot to stay The Pines Lodge is a splendid choice.

| | The Sawatch Range rocks! Fulford Cave Campground is a splendid campground nearby; Tellurium Park is a good place. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Tellurium Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Tellurium Lake. slopes of Beaver Creek are so inviting nobody can resist.
Go for a hike on the Ironedge Trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Fryingpan River. Tellurium Lake truly is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. Elk Wallow
Campground is a splendid local campground, and not far from Tellurium Lake you'll hit upon Fairview Lake which is a delightful lake. Tellurium Lake is pretty dry commonly; during the month of July you get the most rain around here
while February is commonly the driest month.
You're sure to run into some nice folks from Edwards here, and one of the governing marks of the surroundings of Tellurium Lake is Avalanche Peak. You just can't imagine the amount
of outdoors cool things the area next to Tellurium Lake has to offer. What would winter be without some skiing at Vail. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more cool things to do here in the Sawatch Range. Take a little spree to Reed Creek if you're here at Tellurium Lake; paddling on Eagle River is so much fun.
