If you are in Gunnison county it's always a good idea to stop by Taylor Park Reservoir. Don't leave Taylor Park Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Gold Creek Union Park Trail, and Rivers End Campground is a tremendous local campground. Going for a hike on the Matchless Trail is always a glorious adventure, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Taylor River. This lake is so wonderful.
