Eyre Creek is a nice local stream; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Aspen Highlands is pretty near. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great globe it would be. A picturesque lake like American Lake near Taylor Lake is a great location to check out; there's whitewater on Roaring Fork       for all you adrenaline people. Weller Lake is a magnificent lake in the neighborhood of Taylor Lake; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Star Trail. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do next to Taylor Lake. You'll meet a lot of people from Edwards here. The Alpenblick By Aspen Lodging Company is a great place to get some rest, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Granite Basin Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you                  came to camp Pine Creek Campground is a good location to do that, and get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Roaring Fork. At Taylor Lake you don’t see much rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. On a beautiful day you get a panorama of Gold Hill from Taylor Lake. There's so much to do here at Taylor Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Castle Creek Campground is a great spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Aspen Mountain is tremendous, and going for a hike along the Matchless Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. All through the warm days of summer here at Taylor Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 40's.
