Tarryall Ranch Reservoir Number 1 is pretty arid usually; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is brilliant at Keystone.

Michigan Creek Campground
 | We got ''stuck'' with this campground because all the campgrounds at Jefferson Lake were full. But what a blessing in disguise. This campground does not have water or trash pickup (the water pump is disabled and has a sign that it is ''closed''). And it isn't nearly as close to Jefferson Lake as the other three. But the scenery is beautiful, and you will have a lot more privacy than at the ones by Jefferson Lake. Sites 1 through 4 have lots of trees. Sites 6, 9, 10 and 11 have partial tree coverage. Sites 5, 7, 8, and 12 have few or no trees. There is fishing in nearby Michigan creek. The creek is fairly close by (a few hundred feet or less from all sites. Great campground.... |
