     Tarantula Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Antone Spring Campground is a tremendous local campground; Fisher Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Tarantula Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Tarantula Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Iron Spring Campground is a brilliant spot for that, and going for a hike along the Dry Creek Trail  
   will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains is unbeatable! Hampton Inn Montrose is a wonderful place to get some rest; if you feel like a little side journey, try Hanks Valley.
This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on San Miguel River is so much fun; hiking along the Horsefly Trail is nice fun. Summertime highs at Tarantula Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 80's
 
               while nighttime lows are usually in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Tarantula Reservoir.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. It's always magnificent to check out Clay Creek Spring, and some of the water nearby flows, like Hanks Creek. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Whitewater paddling is nice on San Miguel River, and if you get bored of Tarantula Reservoir you could also have a look at nearby Middle Sanborn Park Reservoir.
It is very dehydrated here at Tarantula Reservoir generally; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There are plenty of people from Montrose here at Tarantula Reservoir, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Paradox Road.
