A visit to Tagert Reservoir is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Difficult Creek flows through this region, and hiking along the Star Trail is brilliant fun. Tagert Reservoir is pretty waterless generally; July is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A glorious place to camp here at Tagert Reservoir is Aspen Park Campground.

| | outdoors paradise. Skiing at Aspen Mountain is one of those things you just should do, and Smuggler Mountain is painless to spot from Tagert Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Chapman Trail; Tagert Reservoir is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Weller Lake Campground is a fine local campground.
