Tagert Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Roaring Fork. This lake is so wonderful. This is a fine region for folks who like lakes. Warren Lake is a lake in the neighborhood; enjoy a round of golf at Aspen Golf Course. If you need a spot to stay Chateau Roaring Fork by ResortQuest is a glorious choice, and some nearby water includes Difficult Creek.

At Tagert Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls through July; February is when it's the driest. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Tagert Lake
Dam; don't leave Tagert Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Star Trail. You get a pleasant panorama of Smuggler Mountain from Tagert Reservoir, and going for a hike on the Sawyer Lake Trail is always a nice adventure.
