Roaring Fork has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and a day on the slopes of Aspen Mountain is just what you need. So many cool things to do at Tagert Reservoir, so little time. After a long day outdoors Chateau Roaring Fork by ResortQuest is a great spot to spend a night or two, and you can spot Smuggler Mountain from Tagert Reservoir. This spot is great, just explore all the amusing       stuff to do in the vicinity of Tagert Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop by Tagert Lake Dam, and enjoy a round of golf at Aspen Golf Course. Not much precipitation falls here at Tagert Reservoir; most of the rain falls during July, and February is the month with the least moisture. There is a delightful hiking trail near Tagert Reservoir called the Sawyer Lake Trail, and the snow is great at Aspen                  Highlands. VillaHotel Bears Creek is a great place to get some rest; if you get bored of Tagert Reservoir you could also pop by nearby Tagerts Lake. Go for a hike on the Star Trail, and if you came to camp Weller Lake Campground is a good spot to do that. Visit Difficult Creek if you're here at Tagert Reservoir; going for a hike on the Chapman Trail is always a splendid adventure. Through the months of summer here at Tagert Reservoir, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Tagert Reservoir dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
