It's always fun to stop by Sylvan Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Gilbert Campground; a good spot for whitewater paddling is Williams Fork. Sylvan Reservoir is not far at all from Silverthorne. Sylvan Dam is worth taking a look at while you're here; after a long day outdoors Littletree Inn is a nice location to spend a night or two.
Through the summer months at Sylvan Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 80's with nighttime

| | lows in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Sylvan Reservoir drop into the-10's. You absolutely have to have a thing about Sylvan Reservoir. Don’t forget to stop at Long Park while you're here at Sylvan Reservoir; Brinker Gulch is also a tremendous place to look at. here, and the driest of the months is February.
SolVista is a brilliant local ski area; hiking along the Sulfur Trail is delightful fun. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Horseshoe Sulfur Trail will let you
absorb the natural beauty of this region; why not camp at Beaver Creek Campground if you're here at Sylvan Reservoir. And that's not all there is to do here in the Park Range. If the weather is pleasant here at Sylvan Reservoir, you
can go for a hike along the Williams Peak Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Silvercreek Lodging.
So many fun things in the Park Range, just incredible. Colorado River is a splendid whitewater spot near Sylvan Reservoir, and
don't forget to take a wonderful little trip to Hermosa Creek. Sylvan Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Park Range.
