But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Sawatch Range. Dry warm beds await you at Delaware Hotel. Lakes are delightful; Island Lake is a lake that's close to Sylvan Lakes. Sylvan Lakes is great enough to spend more than a day at, Belle of Colorado Campground is a great local campground, and Crane Park is a fine site to check out. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Sylvan Lakes with night lows       in the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Sylvan Lakes. The Main Range Trail is a great hiking trail near Sylvan Lakes; Silver King Inn is a tremendous location to get some rest. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Sawatch Range will keep you coming back persistently. That right there is loads already, but it carries on; Sylvan Lakes has it all. Skiing at Ski Cooper is one of those things you                  just must do; great skiing awaits you at Copper Mountain. Going for a hike on the Fall Creek Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Homestake Creek. This lake is so wonderful. A great vista of lovely Missouri Hill is available from Sylvan Lakes; a great place is Little Porcupine Gulch. Sylvan Lakes gets very little rain; August is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Sawatch Range scenery is always beautiful. And that's not all you can do here at Sylvan Lakes. You're possibly into lakes, Diamond Lake is one of those nearby, and a good site to camp here at Sylvan Lakes is Sugar Loafin' RV/campground. This lake is so wonderful. Near Sylvan Lakes you come across the Highline Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Arkansas River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sawatch Range.
