Good hiking is available along the South Derby Trail; Caravan Inn is a delightful location to get some rest. What would winter be without some skiing at Sunlight Mountain; if you need a site to stay Hotel Colorado is a delightful choice. There       are some perfect whitewater spots on Sweetwater Creek; Hack Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. For the duration of the long summer days at Sweetwater Lake highs are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Sweetwater Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. Sweetwater Lake is a location that is relatively dry                  usually; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest of the months is June. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Sweetwater Lake, you could also have a look at close by Johnny Meyers Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Sweetwater Lake without first going for a hike along the High Trail, and you can stay the night at Coffee Pot Spring Campground. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff right next door to Sweetwater Lake will keep you coming back over and over.
