  Swede Lake is right next door to Rifle Gap State Park which is a pretty place. The Hay Flat Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Swede Lake, and Swede Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Meeker City Park is a great place to camp nearby. The summit of LO 7 Hill can be made out from Swede Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. The fine folks of Meeker like to hang out nearby; Circle Park is a tremendous campground nearby. Swede Lake
    gets very little precipitation. May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Swede Lake reach the 80's.
