If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great earth it would be. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River; Fossil Creek Dam is delightful. Swede Lake is glorious enough       to spend more than a day at, Loveland RV Village Campground is a glorious local campground, and after a long day outdoors Americinn - Fort Collins/Windsor, Co is a great site to spend a night or two. Not far from Swede Lake, you'll discover Fossil Creek Reservoir which is a striking lake, and an afternoon playing golf at Ptarmigan Country Club is always a joy. There are other places here than Swede Lake, for example Nelson Reservoir. Swede Lake is pretty                  arid ordinarily; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Big Thompson River; dry warm beds await you at Embassy Suites Loveland Hotel Spa Conference Center. Throughout the months of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Swede Lake; the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, usually in the 50's.
