It's always fun to stop by Swale Lake. If you adore the outdoors, you'll love Swale Lake. Don't leave Swale Lake without first going for a hike along the Silver Creek Trail, and if you need a place to stay Wolf Creek Ski Lodge & Motel is a great choice. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan Mountains. Swale Lake is a wet site that gets a great deal of precipitation; March is the wettest month with most snow, and June on the other hand is the driest.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Wolf Creek is a great whitewater spot near Swale Lake; camping at Swale Lake is great fun, Upper Beaver Creek Campground is a great local campground. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 60's to Swale Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Swale Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.

A fine place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Swale Lake is Rio Grande, and if you came for an overnight stay Cross Creek Campground is a brilliant site to camp. That right there is loads of exciting stuff already but
it goes on, the San Juan Mountains has it all. Good hiking is available along the Quartz Creek Trail, and do stop at Rudifor Lake, it's a gorgeous lake. Be careful coming to the San Juan Mountains, you might not ever wanna return
back home again. Lost Mine Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at, and you can go for a hike on the Hot Creek Stock Driveway.
You ought to certainly dedicate some time to Pond Park while you're here at Swale Lake, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Inn Motel.
