It's always fun to stop by Sunshine Lake. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Front Range. Bluebell Canyon is a glorious location to look at, and if you get bored of Sunshine Lake you could also go to nearby Maxwell Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Rocky Mountain National Park is a brilliant national park, and Sunshine Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Stone Mountain Lodge and RV Park is a good local campground. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Flatirons Golf Course is nearby, and there are plenty of people from Boulder here. Getting to Fourmile Creek from Sunshine Lake is painless, and paddling on Boulder Creek is so
much fun. If you're here at Sunshine Lake, checking out Flagstaff Memorial is a must; going for a hike along the Saddle Rock Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is
bountiful here in the Front Range. While you're here at Sunshine Lake you can take a hike along the Green Mountain Trail, and after a long day outdoors Boulder University Inn is a good location to spend a night or two. This lake is
so wonderful. Here at Sunshine Lake you can catch a glimpse of Flagstaff Mountain, and Boulder Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. During the warm months highs here at Sunshine Lake get into the 80's, and during
the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 40's; overnight lows at Sunshine Lake during the winter regularly plunge into the 10's.
