What a nice lake Sunset Lake is. This place, Sunset Lake, it just has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Sunset Lake has to offer, you can camp at Park Place Camping Resort, and there's whitewater on Saint Vrain Creek - North for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Sunset Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Meeker Park Campground is a pleasant place

| | for that, and Higgins Park is a pleasant place. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Front Range. You're sure to run into some fine folks from Fort Collins-Loveland here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the North Sheep Mountain Trail.

Bright Trail. A good nearby hotel is Stone Mountain Lodge And Cabins; Deer Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. Get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Saint Vrain Creek - South; at Sunset
Lake you can see North Sheep Mountain.
After a long day outdoors Lake Shore Lodge is a great spot to spend a night or two, and Bear Gulch is another great location to have a look at close by. This lake is so wonderful. The beauty
of mother nature reveals herself at Wilson Spring, and hiking along the Ceran Vrain Trail is tremendous fun. For the period of the warm months at Sunset Lake highs are frequently in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to
the 30's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Sunset Lake sink into the 0's.
At Sunset Lake you don’t see much precipitation; through August this area
sees the most rain; November on the other hand is the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. But wait, there's more to do near Sunset Lake.
