You'll need more than a day to look at everything Sunset Lake has to offer, you can camp at Park Place Camping Resort. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Good hiking is available along the Bright Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Saint Vrain Creek - North. So many cool things in the Front Range, just tremendous. All year is a great time in the Front Range if you like the outdoors. There's so much to do here at Sunset Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Meeker Park Campground is a pleasant place for that, and sites like Higgins Park are great to stop by. This lake is so wonderful.
