This lake is so wonderful. Sweetwater Lake Campground is a great campground nearby; a lake nearby is Benton Lake. That right there is plenty already, but it carries on; Sunnyside Lakes has it all. Drift down the rapids of Sweetwater Creek in a kayak, and there's wonderful hiking along the South Derby Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Sunnyside Lakes is not the only spot nearby,       Heart Lake is a nearby lake. Holiday Inn Express Eagle, Co is a nice site to get some rest, and don't leave Sunnyside Lakes without first going for a hike along the Ute Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Colorado River; from Sunnyside Lakes you get a good vista of Dome Peak. High temperatures at Sunnyside Lakes through the months of summer are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime                  are in the 20's while Sunnyside Lakes nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's.
