You're perhaps into lakes, Abyss Lake is one of those close by, and Winter Park is a very popular ski area close by. That right there is a load of amusing things already but it goes on, the Front Range has it all. Summit Lake is right by the Chicago Lakes Trail; at Summit Lake you can catch a glimpse of Mount Bierstadt. If only every location had this much outdoors fun things, what a great planet it would be. Camping is available       at West Chicago Creek Campground, and if you're hooked on cool geologic features try The Sawtooth. From a precipitation point of view Summit Lake is a rather typical place; April is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest of the months is October. Summertime at Summit Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 30's. Highs throughout the wintertime are frequently in the 20's; winter nights come                  with lows in the 0's to Summit Lake. Summit Lake is one of the lakes here in the Front Range. Be careful coming to the Front Range, you might not ever wanna return home again. A great location to camp here at Summit Lake is Beartrack Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Georgetown Mountain Inn. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Georgetown is a good site to spend a night or two, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear Creek.
