If you are in Clear Creek county it's always a good idea to stop by Summit Lake. Why not camp at West Chicago Creek Campground if you're here at Summit Lake, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Abyss Trail. The skiing at Winter Park is perfect; The Sawtooth is something you shouldn't miss while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Clear Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and dry warm beds await you at Alpine Inn.
