Sullivan Reservoir gets very little rainfall; all through October this area sees the most rain; the driest month is January. There are tremendous places to look at along the Bailey Lake Trail, and Sullivan Reservoir is a good place to visit for more than one day, Craig Kampground is a good place to camp nearby. If you       come at the right time of year, White River - North Fork offers some perfect whitewater, and don't leave Sullivan Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Oyster Lake Trail. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Sullivan Reservoir. You'll locate a charming lake called Waddle Creek Reservoir near Sullivan Reservoir; dry warm beds await you at Elk Run Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike                  on the Sleepy Cat Trail is always a pleasant adventure. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful lake like Sagebrush Reservoir Number 1 close to Sullivan Reservoir is a great spot to check out; if you need a location to stay Candlewood Suites CRAIG-NORTHWEST is a delightful choice. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Yampa River, and swing by Beaver Creek it's a good place to take a look at. At Sullivan Reservoir through the summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's.
