There is a fine hiking trail in the vicinity of Sullivan Reservoir called the Oyster Lake Trail, and a charming lake like Sagebrush Reservoir Number 1 is a brilliant location to explore. Through the months of summer here at Sullivan Reservoir, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally       in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Sullivan Reservoir. Sullivan Reservoir is pretty waterless ordinarily; through the month of October you get the most rain around here; January on the other hand is the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Candlewood Suites CRAIG - NORTHWEST, and you can stay the night at Indian Run Campground. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Sullivan Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Craig Kampground,                  and get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of White River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. The Bailey Lake Trail is a glorious hiking trail near Sullivan Reservoir. Elk Run Inn is a great place to get some rest; obviously Beaver Creek flows through this region. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Waddle Creek Reservoir next to Sullivan Reservoir, it's a lovely lake, and you can run the rapids of Yampa River. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great world it would be.
