Sugarbowl Lake is a nice lake to visit. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains, too great to be true. The Link Trail is a good hiking trail close to Sugarbowl Lake. Man, is there lots of fun stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. There is a perfect hiking trail near Sugarbowl Lake called the Rawah Trail, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? | | Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Summertime highs at Sugarbowl Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's, and the night is quite chillier of course, commonly in the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Sugarbowl Lake. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Sugarbowl Lake. out from Sugarbowl Lake. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Sugarbowl Lake you can take a hike along the McIntyre Lake Trail, and whitewater paddling is nice on Joe Wright Creek. There's so much to do here at Sugarbowl
Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hooligan Roost Campground is a fine place for that; get wet paddling on Cache La Poudre River. A tremendous close by hotel is Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr; unsurprisingly, this is a fine
vicinity for folks who like lakes, McIntyre Lake is a lake nearby. At Sugarbowl Lake you don’t see much rain; May is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture.

 | 17 miles away A very nice place to go camping, hiking and fishing. The reservoir has an astonishing breathtaking view, nothing like I have ever seen before, yes that beautiful! We went the weekend of July 10th, 2009 the weather during the day is very nice and sunny avg. temp about 75 degrees, the nights however are very cold, dipping into the low 40's and 30's, so be prepared for that, we came with too little of blankets and learned that to be a big mistake. Long draw is located about 15 mi. inland from Hwy 14 just past Chambers, driving into the reservoir looks deceitful because it seems as though you are traveling into the thick of the forest with nothing but trees around, but be patient 15 mi. in you will discover the camp ground, enjoy!... |
