There's whitewater on Green River for all you adrenaline kick people. Any time is a magnificent time at Stuntz Reservoir if you love the outdoors. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Jones Hole Creek; if you have time to spare, Dinosaur National Monument is a national park worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Stuntz Reservoir you can take a hike along the Red Rock Nature Trail, and       Stuntz Draw is a great site to spend some time. Take a hike on the Daniels Trail, and Stuntz Reservoir is a fine location to camp, Rainbow Park Campground is a fine location. A brilliant nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Downtown; Iron Springs Wash Pool Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at. High temperatures at Stuntz Reservoir through the warm days of summer are in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All                  through the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Stuntz Reservoir. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Stuntz Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Split Mountain Gorge Campground; you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Jones Hole Trail.
