Stump Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. This location rocks, just look at all the entertaining things to do next to Stump Reservoir. If you came to camp Dolores River RV Park is a magnificent site to do that, and do stop by Morgan Cabin Reservoir, it's a delightful lake. you get the most rain here, and the driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Cozy Comfort RV Park and Mountain Retreat is always a nice experience; the McPhee Stock Trail offers hiking at its best. Near Stump
Reservoir you discover great places like Carver Canyon, and if you need a place to stay Dunton Hot Springs is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. You'll locate a wonderful lake called Butler Reservoir near Stump Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Dolores River.

Puett Reservoir
 | A.M. Puett Reservoir was originally constructed in 1905, and then reconstructed in 1960. It contains 163 surface acres when full and is owned and operated by the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company. The lake is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife and open for public fishing from the bank and from trolling motor powered boats. No swimming is allowed. Summit Reservoir
 | Summit Lake was constructed in 1905 and reconstructed and enlarged in 1938. It is owned and operated by the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company. It contains 402 surfqace acres when full. The lake is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) and open for public fishing. Public access is from highway 184 on the north side of the lake. There is a boat ramp. Fishing is allowed from the bank or from hand powered or trolling motor powered boats only. The public access is maintained by the DOW. The only facilities present is a boat ramp and a pit toilet. La Mesa RV Park
 | 11 miles away We stayed in this campground mid-July 2006. Very efficient, friendly park. Adequate power, water, and sewage hookups. Rates were reasonable; and the manager did indicate that longer stays were discounted. Nice fenced dog run for our puppies to enjoy. The microbrewery in town has a wide selection of locally made beverages. I would gladly stop at La Mesa RV Park again.... |
