     All year is a great time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. There's pleasant hiking along the Long Ridge Stock Driveway; paddling on Rio Grande is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Streams Lake without first going for a hike along the Rainbow Trail; as expected, this is a nice region for people who like lakes, Goose Reservoir is a lake in close proximity. At Streams Lake all through the summer highs are in the 70's.  
   Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Streams Lake tend to be in the-10's.
Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express PAGOSA SPRINGS, and glide down the rapids of Wolf Creek in a kayak. Streams Lake is a location that is rather waterless typically; July is the month that gets the most rain, and June is when it's
 
               the driest. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area near Streams Lake has to offer. Camping is available at Broken Arrow Ranch, and you can go for a hike on the Middle Creek Stock Driveway.
A magnificent site to camp here at Streams Lake is Ivy Creek Campground and Trailhead, and you're in all probability hooked on lakes, Love Lake is one of those nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Streams Lake is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
