This lake is so wonderful. Strawberry Lake is right by the Indian Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Potato Patch Campground is a magnificent place to camp. And that's not all you can do here at Strawberry Lake. At Strawberry Lake you can catch a sight of Francisco Peak. The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Around Strawberry Lake you don’t get       a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is August while January is commonly the driest month. Going for a hike along the Bernal Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Lakes? Sure, Lost Lake is in the vicinity. And if that's not enough there's a heap more cool things to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. The skiing at Ski Rio is brilliant, and camping at Strawberry Lake is great fun, Monument Lake Resort is a great local                  campground. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Eldora is near Strawberry Lake, and hiking along the Peaks Trail is perfect fun. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Strawberry Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's.
