This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Penrose-Rosemont Reservoir while you're here at Stratton Reservoir; it's close by, and if you need a spot to stay Eagle Motel is a good choice. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Stratton Reservoir with nighttime lows in the 40's. through winter nights. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Front Range. There's so much to do here at Stratton Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Wye Campground is a good location for that, and a lake close
by is Penrose-Rosemont Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is magnificent here at Stratton Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Barr Trail; Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a good national park.
Stratton Reservoir is a location that is quite dehydrated generally; July is the wettest month with most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
And that's not all you can do here at Stratton Reservoir. The top of Almagre
Mountain is easily spotted from Stratton Reservoir, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Indian Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range.
