Beautiful Storm Lake has much to offer visitors. Storm Lake is pretty arid ordinarily; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is mostly the driest month. High temperatures at Storm Lake all through the summertime months are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows at Storm Lake all through the winter commonly plunge into the 0's. Just can't get

| | enough of the Front Range. Jasper Dam is pretty and it's near Storm Lake; Boulder Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. There's so much to do here at Storm Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fourth of July Campground is a good site for that; after a long day outdoors Iron Horse Resort is a delightful location to spend a night or two. Trail, and hey, Gotta ski right? Berthoud Pass is a fine location to do that. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing stuff just keep reading. Devils Thumb Lake is a fine lake near Storm Lake. The Front Range scenery
is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. The King Lake Trail is a tremendous hiking trail right next door to Storm Lake, and you can catch a sight of Mount Jasper from Storm Lake. If you came to camp Buckingham Campground is
a delightful site to do that; Devils Thumb is an attention-grabbing place to stop at while at Storm Lake. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do close to Storm Lake. Beaver Village Condominiums is a great site to
get some rest, and the slopes of Winter Park are so inviting noone can resist. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more enjoyable stuff to do in the Front Range. There are other locations here than Storm Lake, for example
Upper Diamond Lake, and paddling on Clear Creek - West Fork is so much fun. Arapaho Pass is a pleasant site to go to nearby, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Diamond Lake Trail.
