A visit to Storm Lake is always a good idea. All the outdoors amusing things close to Storm Lake will keep you coming back many times. If you need a location to stay Iron Horse Resort is a fine choice, and there's whitewater on Clear Creek - West Fork for all you adrenaline people. There's good hiking along the Devils Thumb Trail, and Storm Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Buckingham Campground is a pleasant local campground. And if that's

Why not take a refreshing hike along the King Lake Trail, and a wonderful lake like Betty Lake is a tremendous place to stop by. Having a wonderful time at Storm Lake is easy. on the slopes of Winter Park is just what you need. Storm Lake is pretty waterless ordinarily; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's
for you then we recommend Boulder Creek; lakes are such serene locations, why not take a look at Devils Thumb Lake. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Front Range. A journey to
Arapaho Pass is always fun; there's always Jasper Dam to have a look at right next door to Storm Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Beaver Village Condominiums is a great place to spend a night or two,
and the Diamond Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Storm Lake with overnight lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Storm Lake dipping down into
the 0's during winter nights. There's so much to do here at Storm Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fourth of July Campground is a perfect place for that; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Berthoud Pass is pretty near.
