Beautiful Stone Lake has much to offer visitors. At Stone Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; night lows at Stone Lake through the wintertime commonly fall into the 0's. Man, is there a heap of fun things to do in the Front Range. | | in a kayak. Nearby Cony Pass is a tremendous place to go if you're at Stone Lake, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Gourd Lake Trail. Stone Lake is pretty waterless ordinarily; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. The is a fine choice, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Roaring Fork Trail. The Buchanan Pass Trail is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Stone Lake, and you can hit the slopes at Winter Park close by.
I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Stone Lake. At Stone Lake you can see Cooper Peak; a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park is worthwhile. Berthoud Pass has nice slopes and a friendly staff; Saint Vrain Glaciers
is a tremendous location to explore while in the region. You completely should love the Front Range. Camping at Crater Lake Campground is always a great experience, and get soaked paddling on Boulder Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
Lakes? Sure, Crawford Lake is in close proximity; if you came to camp Shelter Rock Campground is a fine spot to do that. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Stone Lake.
