Camping at Stickford Lake is delightful fun, South Park Mobile Home Park is a delightful local campground, and a trip to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is recommended. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Denver-Aurora here, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Bear Creek Lake. Bear Creek       is a nice whitewater spot near Stickford Lake; dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn. Stickford Lake is commonly a quite dry place; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest. A visit to Weaver Gulch is always fun, and since you're here you can play some golf at Fox Hollow at Lakewood Golf Course. An interesting thing to visit close to Stickford Lake is Harriman Dam, and don't                  forget to take a brilliant little tour to Weaver Creek.
