is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Pagosa Springs Golf Club, and don't leave Stevens Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Fourmile Stock Trail. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even
more exciting stuff to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There's fine hiking along the Piedra Stock Trail, and Stevens Reservoir is a good place to visit for more than one day, San Juan Trailer Park and Motel is a good
place to camp nearby. A great nearby hotel is Fairfield Pagosa Resort. Stay the night at Wolf Creek Valley Campground, and why not head up to Wolf Creek and strap some skis to your feet. Stevens Reservoir is pretty dehydrated
commonly; most of the rain falls all through July, and June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. On a beautiful day you acquire a sight of Oakbrush Hill from Stevens Reservoir, of course you could also stop by Lake Pagosa while you're here; it's not far at all.

San Juan River - East Fork
 | 12 miles away I am a very close relative of the land owners for a significant portion of the East Fork. There is a couple of miles of river that is private land. Using the river or the land without authorization is tresspassing and is illegal. I am by no means giving you permission to use it. I am simply stating the facts. Please respect the property line and stay on public lands. Other than that enjoy your time in CO and happy rafting.... |
