Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Clear Creek - West Fork; a great site nearby is Rogers Pass. And that's not all you can do here at Steuart Lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area next to Steuart Lake has to offer. Stay the night at Mountain Meadow Camp Grounds; after a long day outdoors Zephyr Mountain Lodge is a glorious place       to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Steuart Lake has to offer, you can camp at Midland Campground, and Winter Park has good slopes and a friendly staff. At Steuart Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Steuart Lake dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.                  Lakes are such calm places, why not stop at Stewart Lake near Steuart Lake, and Mount Bancroft can be distinguished from Steuart Lake. You'll come across a striking lake called Reynolds Lake near Steuart Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Mary Jane Ski Trail. Iron Horse Resort is a magnificent place to get some rest, and you can hit the slopes at Berthoud Pass around here. Steuart Lake is a location that is reasonably waterless generally; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The South Boulder Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and not far from Steuart Lake you acquire some wonderful water scenery at Stewart Lake Dam.
