Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things near Steuart Lake. Winter Park is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood; Midland Campground is a delightful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. At Stewart Lake Dam near Steuart Lake there are some attention-grabbing things to see, and if you came       for an overnight stay Mountain Meadow Camp Grounds is a great location to camp. You can make out Mount Bancroft from Steuart Lake, and dry warm beds await you at The Peck House. Steuart Lake is ordinarily a reasonably waterless location; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clear Creek, and if you get bored of Steuart Lake you could also take a look at close by Stewart Lake. What                  a location this is for outdoors people. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to stop at next to Steuart Lake is Rogers Pass, and there are glorious locations to look at along the Mary Jane Ski Trail.
