The beauty of Steamboat Lake attracts many people from all around. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful. Be careful coming to the Park Range, you might not ever want to return home again. Howelsen Hill is a good local ski area, and if you came to camp Sunrise Vista Campground is a fine place to do that. Steamboat Lake gets very little rain; December is the month that gets the most snow while February is usually the driest month.

already but it goes on, the Park Range has it all. Looking for some flowing water? Try Deep Creek, and there's whitewater on Elk River for all you adrenaline people. A striking lake like Steamboat Lake in the neighborhood of Steamboat
Lake is a glorious spot to explore, and after a long day outdoors CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. While you're here at Steamboat Lake you can take
a hike along the Coulton Creek Trail, and you can take a little visit to Willow Creek Dam if you're here at Steamboat Lake.
On a perfect day at Steamboat Lake you can take a hike along the Nipple Peak Trail, and there are some good whitewater spots on Elk River. You'll find a wonderful lake called Hinman Lake near Steamboat Lake.
