Lakes are great; Northfield Number 4 Reservoir is a lake that's in the vicinity of Stanley Reservoir, and camping at Promontory Campground is always a delightful experience. Having a great time in the Front Range is trouble-free. Go for a hike on       the Stanley Canyon Trail; there's always Stanley Canyon Dam to check out close to Stanley Reservoir. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Stanley Reservoir reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 40's with temperatures at Stanley Reservoir dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
