This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Stanley Reservoir to distinguish the water at Stanley Canyon Dam. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Front Range. There's so much to do here at Stanley Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Lone Duck Campground is a great place for that, and after       a long day outdoors TownePlace Suites Colorado Springs is a good place to spend a night or two. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Stanley Reservoir, too nice to be true. Fairfield Inn & Suites Colorado Springs North/Air Force Academy is a perfect spot to get some rest, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Stanley Reservoir; Stanley Canyon Trail is a great local trail. Stanley Reservoir is not far at all from Colorado Springs, and do take a hike on                  the Waldo Canyon Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Stanley Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Promontory Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Schubarth Trail. So much amusing stuff to do in the Front Range, not enough time. Do stop by Northfield Number 4 Reservoir next to Stanley Reservoir, it's a picturesque lake, and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a perfect local destination. Stanley Reservoir is located in the Front Range. Northfield Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and a pleasant panorama of delightful Devils Kitchen is available. The warmest time of the year at Stanley Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the nighttime is slightly colder of course, commonly in the 40's.
