You can take a little trip to Sanchez Stabilizing Dam since you're here at Stabilization Reservoir, and Stabilization Reservoir is a brilliant place to camp, Ute Creek RV Park is a brilliant place. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Stabilization Reservoir       while overnight lows are regularly in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Stabilization Reservoir temperatures descend to the 0's. Stabilization Reservoir is typically a pretty dried out place; the month with most of the rain is August while January is ordinarily the driest month. Camping at Stabilization Reservoir is nice fun, Blanca RV Park is a nice local campground, and delightful skiing awaits                  you at Red River.
