This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Have a great hiking adventure along the Long Ridge Stock Driveway. There's so much to do here at Squaw Lake that you need to camp here for a while, River Hill Campground is a good location for that. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Rio Grande. An average amount of

That right there is heaps of amusing things already but it goes on, the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has it all. Going for a hike along the Middle Creek Stock Driveway will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and you can stay the night at Thirtymile Campground. at Squaw Lake during the winter usually fall into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Fern Creek Stock Driveway is wonderful fun, and while you're here, you could also pop by wonderful Rio Grande Reservoir.
