This lake is so wonderful. OakRidge Lodge is a tremendous site to get some rest. It is very dried up here at Spruce Lakes usually; July is when you get the most rain here, and June is when it's the driest. A glorious location for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Spruce Lakes is Wolf Creek; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Spruce Lake Number 1. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Windy Pass Trail,

night at West Fork Campground. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. While you're here at Spruce Lakes you can take a hike along the Treasure Mountain Trail. Lakes are great; Spruce Lake Number 2 is a lake that's
close to Spruce Lakes. Be careful coming to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. There's so much to do here at Spruce Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Park Creek Campground is
a great spot for that, and some of the water nearby flows, like Lake Creek. The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
