Throughout the long summer days highs here at Spruce Lake Number 1 get into the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 30's. Through the winter highs are typically in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Spruce Lake Number 1 are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Wolf Creek offers some tremendous whitewater, and don't leave Spruce Lake Number 1 without first going for a hike along the Windy Pass Trail. Yep,

Camping is available at West Fork Campground, and if you get bored of Spruce Lake Number 1 you could also stop at close by Spruce Lake Number 2. This lake is so wonderful. Spruce Lake Number 1 is a location that is reasonably dehydrated frequently; during the month of July you get the most rain around here; June on the other hand is the driest. Spruce Lake Number 1, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend San Juan River - East Fork. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. A great nearby
hotel is OakRidge Lodge, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express PAGOSA SPRINGS is a nice choice. Good hiking is available along the Treasure Mountain Trail, and Spruce Lake Number 1 is not the only place nearby, Spruce
Lakes is a nearby lake. Having a great time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains is trouble-free. There's nice hiking along the Highline Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Park Creek Campground is a splendid place to camp. Spruce Lake Number 1 is one of the lakes here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
