If you came for an overnight stay Upper Piedra Campground is a good location to camp. Spring Creek Reservoir is a location that is quite arid mostly; most of the rain falls during July while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do in close proximity to Spring Creek
