This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Upper Piedra Campground is a good location to camp. Spring Creek Reservoir is a location that is quite arid mostly; most of the rain falls during July while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do in close proximity to Spring Creek       Reservoir. Hiking along the Piedra Stock Trail is good fun, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Pagosa Springs. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Fourmile Stock Trail; Sportsman Supply & Campground is a wonderful local campground. Near Spring Creek Reservoir you locate great spots like Reservoir Gulch, and there are some nice whitewater spots on San Juan River. Wolf Creek has splendid slopes and a friendly staff; Fairfield Pagosa Resort is                  a perfect spot to get some rest. So much fun stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, not enough time. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Martinez Creek Trail, and some close by water includes Cottonwood Creek.
