check out nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Beard Creek is a perfect place to stop at; The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera is a pleasant place to get some rest. At Spring Creek Number Two Reservoir during the warm days of summer highs
are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Spring Creek Number Two Reservoir dip into the 0's.

 | 16 miles away Beautiful drive up to Lede Reservoir. We started in Eagle and took Sylvan Lake road all the way past the lake and then took a right at the first intersection. After climbing up and around the peak in front of us we were upon some huge rolling meadows that were among the forrests. A slight drop down into the valley on the west side of the mountains and a left turn lead us to the reservoir. It is a great spot with some fishing paths around the water and a number of campsites as well. We continued west to Gypsum Creek Road and a short drive back to the town of Gypsum.... |
