It's always fun to stop by Spring Creek Lakes. Spring Creek Lakes gets very little rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is June. This lake is so wonderful. Navajo River is a good whitewater spot right next door to Spring Creek Lakes, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Pagosa Springs, Co. All the outdoors fun stuff in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Hiking along

| | the Leche Creek Trail is pleasant fun, and no need to travel far to stop at interesting stuff like V Rock. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Spring Creek Lakes. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's.
