But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Front Range. At East Portal near Sprague Lake there are some interesting things to see; Glacier Basin is a pleasant spot. Sprague Lake is pretty dried up mostly; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest of the months is November. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Glacier Basin Campground if you're here at Sprague       Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Peak To Peak Lodge Inc.. Having a glorious time in the Front Range is uncomplicated. Moraine Park Campground is a delightful local campground, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not take a look at Bierstadt Lake. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Saint Vrain Creek - North, and the Storm Pass Trail offers hiking at its best. This place, Sprague Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors fun stuff. A journey to Rocky                  Mountain National Park is worthwhile, and get covered with water paddling on Cache La Poudre River. Summertime highs at Sprague Lake generally tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, usually in the 30's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Sprague Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Sprague Lake; Boulder Brook Trail is a great local trail, and if you need a place to stay Alpine Trail Ridge Inn is a glorious choice. A pretty lake like Dorsey Lake near Sprague Lake is a brilliant site to pop by, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Boulder Brook. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. This lake is so wonderful. Emerald Mountain is clearly visible from Sprague Lake, and Sprague Lake is right by the Glacier Creek Trail.
