A pleasant location to camp here at Spomer Lakes is Loveland Station Campground, and while you're here you can play some golf at Highland Hills Municipal Golf Course. Just can't get enough of Spomer Lakes. Whitewater paddling is good on South Platte River. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Erickson Reservoir; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Greeley, Co is a good spot to spend a night       or two. It is very dehydrated here at Spomer Lakes generally; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Spomer Lakes is not the only place close by, Rehmer Lake is a close by lake; at Spomer Lakes you always meet someone from Greeley. Camping at Warm Campground is always a tremendous experience, and a great close by hotel is Greeley Days Inn.
