At Spomer Lakes you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is May, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Spomer Lakes is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Loveland Station Campground is a magnificent site to camp nearby, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Highland Hills Municipal Golf Course is in the       neighborhood. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Greeley, Co; a lake close by is Kammerzell Lake. After a long day outdoors Greeley Days Inn is a great site to spend a night or two, and Warm Campground is a splendid local campground. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Spomer Lakes has it all. There are some great whitewater spots on South Platte River. Spomer Lakes is not the only place nearby, Erickson Reservoir is a nearby lake,                  and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Greeley. Through the long summer days here at Spomer Lakes, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.
