If you came for an overnight stay Shelter Rock Campground is a great place to camp, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Lake Nanita Trail. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Front Range will keep you coming back many times. There are plenty of people from Fort Collins-Loveland here at Spirit Lake, and dry warm beds await you at The Inn at Grand Lake. But wait, there's more entertaining       things to do in the Front Range. You can spot Andrews Peak from Spirit Lake; don't miss out on a spree to Rocky Mountain National Park while you're here. A good location to pop by near Spirit Lake is Boulder-Grand Pass, and going for a hike along the East Inlet Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. Spirit Lake is frequently a quite dried up place; August is when you get the most rain                  here; February is the month with the least moisture. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Front Range. The slopes of SolVista are so inviting noone can resist; while you're here you can take a hike along the Bluebird Lake Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things near Spirit Lake. You can run the rapids of Fraser River near Spirit Lake, and get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Boulder Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Spirit Lake, you'll stumble on Fourth Lake which is a pretty lake, and Moomaw Glacier is a nice place to stop by while in the neighborhood. High temperatures at Spirit Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows at Spirit Lake during the wintertime commonly sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Moraine Campground is a great campground nearby; after a long day outdoors Inn At Grand Lake, The is a fine site to spend a night or two. Berthoud Pass is a splendid local ski area. Lakes?
