Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Spiler Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Spiler Lake plunge into the 0's. The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is       always beautiful. Having a glorious time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains is painless. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Navajo River; a brilliant site like Kenney Flats here at Spiler Lake is too perfect to miss. This lake is so wonderful. You're perhaps interested in lakes, Sappington Reservoir is one of those nearby; OakRidge Lodge is a glorious spot to get some rest. Near Spiler Lake you come across magnificent places like Deadman Canyon, and Benson                  Creek is near Spiler Lake and is always a joy to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Wolf Creek is in close proximity to Spiler Lake, and the Mill Creek Stock Drive offers hiking at its best. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer. Good hiking is available along the Blanco River Trail, and naturally, this is a glorious neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Twin Lakes is a lake close by. There's so much to do here at Spiler Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Blanco River Campground is a great location for that, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express PAGOSA SPRINGS is a good choice. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are really plentiful here at Spiler Lake. Get soaked paddling on Rio Blanco, and there's glorious hiking along the Leche Creek Trail.
