At Spiler Lake you don’t see much precipitation; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Spiler Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. Creek is near Spiler Lake and is always a joy to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Wolf Creek is in close proximity to Spiler Lake, and the Mill Creek Stock Drive offers hiking at its
best. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer. Good hiking is available along the Blanco River Trail, and naturally, this is a glorious neighborhood for folks
who like lakes, Twin Lakes is a lake close by. There's so much to do here at Spiler Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Blanco River Campground is a great location for that, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express
PAGOSA SPRINGS is a good choice. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are really plentiful here at Spiler Lake. Get soaked paddling on Rio Blanco, and there's glorious hiking along the Leche Creek Trail. Spiler Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Acres Green RV Park is a great local campground.

Opal Lake
 | 10 miles away I was raised near this lake and when a child we had to pack horses into this lake. It is not near any campgrounds, and it's over 25 miles to town, not 18. It gets way colder than 0 in the winter but the views are almost correct. It IS beautiful!... |
