Spencer Lake mostly gets lots of rain; most of the snow falls throughout March; the driest month of the year is June. And if that's not enough there's a heap more cool things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Take a hike on the Alamosa River Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Movie Manor.       Big Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and a nice site for whitewater paddling is Conejos River. Summertime at Spencer Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Spencer Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. Just can't get enough of the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. While you're here at Spencer Lake you can take a hike along the North Fork Dry Creek Trail; there's some flowing water close by, Beaver Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay. Spencer Lake is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
