A visit to Spectacle Lake is always a good idea. Spectacle Lake really is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. Going for a hike along the Ruybalid Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and if you come at the right time of year, Rio de los Pinos offers some glorious whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Notch Trail, and swing by North Fork Rough Creek it's a good spot to check out. So many

This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Spectacle
Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Spectacle Lake Campground is a nice local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Movie Manor. High temperatures at Spectacle Lake through the warmest time of the year
are in the 60's with night lows in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Spectacle Lake fall into the 0's.
